FT Admin - Asset Manager for Inventory/Shipping/Receiving Services LCC Downtown Campus
The Manager of Fixed Assets, Inventory, Shipping, and Receiving Services reports to the Director of Auxiliary Services and is the subject matter expert at the college for these services. This position will establish, administer, and maintain tracking of the college’s assets, inventory, buildings and equipment by working closely with Purchasing, Accounting, and ITS to ensure all assets are properly valued and accounted for.
FT Admin - Fire Science Coordinator LCC West
Lansing Community College seeks a Fire Science Coordinator for its Technical Careers Division. Under the leadership of the Public Safety Careers Program Director, the Fire Science Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Regional Fire Training Academy and Fire Science program. They coordinate the overall planning and implementation of the academy as well as assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Fire Science program. This includes overseeing instruction for the Regional Training Fire Academy and Fire Science program including scheduling faculty and courses, providing leadership, planning program marketing, maintaining relationships with external agencies, advisory committees, and industry partners.

Lansing Community College's Technical Careers Division seeks an Adjunct Instructor and a Lab Instructor for their Police Academy. Adjunct and Lab Instructors at the Mid-Michigan Police Academy are responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in alignment with the standards set by the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES). Applicants must be MCOLES certified or previously MCOLES certified and prepared to teach a broad range of law enforcement subjects, including but not limited to: Court Functions, Crime Scene Investigation (CSI), Legal Report Writing, Special Investigations, the Motor Vehicle Code (MVC), and Crash Reports/UD-10.

The Design and Construction Technologies Management (Construction Management) Adjunct is responsible for teaching courses that include such content as estimating, scheduling, construction project management, and construction contract law. The successful candidate may also be required to teach classes in construction materials and methods, construction technologies, mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems, building information modeling, sustainable construction, energy management, and/or building commissioning.

The Advanced Manufacturing Program Director is responsible for the Center for Manufacturing Excellence (CME) programs including the Manufacturing Engineering Technology (MET) programs (METD (Design), METS (Systems), METM (Machining) and Welding Technology programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, oversight of the CME with regard to instruction, facilitation of curriculum development, program review, ensuring compliance for all accredited program areas, scheduling faculty and courses, preparing budgets and monitoring expenditures.

Lansing Community College's Technical Careers Division seeks a Full Time Assistant Professor for their Manufacturing Engineering Technology Design program. The faculty member will provide instruction in courses within the Manufacturing Engineering Technologies (MET) program, aligning with current industry practices and evolving teaching methodologies. A strong foundation in machine tool technologies—as well as mechanical and electrical systems—is highly desired. This includes, but is not limited to, manual and CNC machining, CNC programming, CAD/CAM/solid modeling, and machine tool maintenance and repair.

They would function as the secondary source of instruction in the Automotive Technology Lab to support instruction provided by the instructor of record. Assists students in completing lab projects by providing necessary instruction. Provides evaluation of student performance as requested by the instructor of record. Ensures that the lab/workshop is set-up and prepared with all required tools and materials for the assigned class and planned instruction. Coordinates the maintenance of supplies, tools, equipment and facilities.
