The Computer Information Technologies Program (CIT) is seeking a full-time faculty member to teach and coordinate CIT Computer Support and Repair courses. These courses include, but are not limited to, Help Desk Support Specialist, Computer Support A+ Cert Prep, Networking for PC Technicians , and other Computer Information Technologies courses consistent with current developments and teaching methods in the discipline. The faculty member will participate in program/department meetings and divisional/college-wide committees with a focus on continual improvement of programs and learning outcomes, and work closely with business and industry partners. Participate in curriculum and course development, course and program coordination, tutoring and advising students, mentoring and reviewing peers, and College initiatives. Must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population, as well as work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy. This is a 34.6-week position involving daytime and/or evening courses.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum two (2) years experience in related field; OR Associate's Degree and minimum 4 years’ experience in related field
Possess current CompTIA A+ certification; or possess CompTIA Network+ and/or CompTIA Security+ certification and the willingness to earn the CompTIA A+ certification within 6 months after hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
Possess current CCNA certification
Two (2) years experience teaching in higher education or experience in the business field as a trainer
