Lansing Community College, in collaboration with Michigan State University and the Lansing School District, is excited to offer a unique opportunity through the Building Training and Assessment Center (BTAC). This program is designed to build and expand a knowledgeable and diverse energy workforce pipeline by educating and training college-level students in HVAC, energy systems, and related topics through a structured, hands-on educational experience. The goal is to provide students with real-world experience while making a measurable impact on local K-12 schools and small commercial buildings (under 50,000 square feet) by helping reduce their energy use, operational costs, and carbon footprint.

The Music Program at Lansing Community College is seeking adjunct (part-time) faculty to teach Applied and Private Lessons to Voice and/or Piano students. Faculty may have the opportunity to teach other courses in the Music Program. Participate in program/department meetings and divisional/college-wide committees with a focus on continual improvement of programs and learning outcomes. Participate in curriculum and course development, course and program coordination, tutoring and advising students, mentoring and reviewing peers, and College initiatives. Participate in student assessment initiatives within the program and college, and implement the determinations of those initiatives. Must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population, as well as work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy.

Lansing Community College’s Technical Careers Division seeks a Temporary FT Assistant Professor for their Electrical Utility/Lineworker Technology program. The Full-Time Assistant Professor of Electrical Utility/Lineworker Technology is responsible for providing high-quality instruction and leadership within the Electrical Technology Program at Lansing Community College’s Great Lakes Center for Utility Training. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective instruction in both classroom and lab settings, focusing on climbing, construction, and maintenance of electrical lines, while maintaining an unwavering commitment to safety and student success. Participate in program/department meetings and divisional/college-wide committees with a focus on continual improvement of programs and learning outcomes. Participate in curriculum and course development, course and program coordination, tutoring and advising students, mentoring and reviewing peers, and College initiatives.
