Adjunct Instructor - Psychology in LCC Downtown Campus

Adjunct (part-time) faculty to teach courses in Psychology. Depending upon program needs and the candidate’s qualifications, in-person teaching assignments may be on LCC’s downtown Lansing campus, at an extension center (within 40 miles of the downtown campus), and/or via online delivery methods. Teaching in person is preferred. Adjunct faculty are expected to work collaboratively with senior department faculty to develop course content consistent with official course syllabi, to deliver course instruction to students, and to be available for student assistance and advising outside of class. Additional responsibilities may include participation in course assessment, department/program meetings, professional development activities, and other duties as assigned.

The Assistant Volleyball Coach supports the recruitment and selection of student-athletes, instruction in volleyball skills and techniques, and preparation for practices and competitions. The assistant coach also monitors student-athlete academic progress and coordination of program operations, including maintaining team statistics per MCCAA and NJCAA requirements.

Depending upon the program’s needs and the candidate’s qualifications, teaching assignments may be on LCC’s downtown campus, at an extension center (within 40 miles of the downtown campus), and/or via online delivery methods. The most pressing current need is for on-campus instruction. Adjunct faculty are expected to work collaboratively with senior department faculty to develop course content consistent with official course syllabi, to deliver course instruction to students and to be available for student assistance and advising outside of class. Additional responsibilities may include participation in course assessment, department/program meetings, professional development activities and other duties as assigned.

FT Admin - TRIO Academic Coordinator in LCC Downtown Campus

The TRIO Academic Coordinator will enhance student retention by addressing the challenges faced by first-generation, low-income students, students with disabilities, and at-promise students. The Coordinator will manage and oversee all aspects of the TRIO Summer Bridge Institute, coordinate TRIO student orientations, and organize and participate in TRIO college visits and cultural events.
